My wife, Lindsay, and I have been married for 20 years. Lindsay is in the health care business – she has been an inspiration to me in starting Chapman Senior Solutions. We have two children, of whom we are incredibly proud. Our 16-year-old son is on the Varsity Golf team and owns his own business. Our 13-year-old daughter is a Junior Olympic competitive gymnast and musician.
I have a long history of doctors in my family. My uncle was Dr. John Douglas French, a world-renowned neurosurgeon. My uncle diagnosed his illness before moving to an Alzheimer’s Care home built and named in his honor. I would go to the Memory Care unit with my mother a few times a month to spend time with him. It is here where I learned the importance of quality senior care. During this time, I learned the importance of family and taking care of the ones you love.
My great grandfather, Dr. John Rollin French, started the first worker’s compensation clinic in Los Angeles, CA.
My great great grandfather, Dr. William Mayo, was one of the founders of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. It has been an honor having his extraordinary life’s work as part of my heritage.
